The Good Ol’ American Bikini

Google Image

Stars and stripes, red, blue and white,
Shapes and colours adorn me bright.

A sight to behold, a delight to see,
Shouldering the boulders, any size they might be.

Closest to the twins, next best thing on earth,
However I’m wanted off for what it’s worth.

Halter, strapless, tank or tube,
I accentuate all types of B***s.

Support, curve, gait and shape,
I give it all for the gentleman’s sake.

Been through makeovers across generations,
Yet the bikini has remained a sensation.

For I hide almost nothing and reveal almost all…
No wonder beaches are more favoured than malls!
My fan following grows from boys to men
A slip of a strap resounds in an ‘Amen’

Love the beach, but still prefer my one piece.
It teases, tucks in my contours, shows what I want to flaunt and hides my cellulite 😀

@ Prateek: Just joined this morning…..so waiting and watching now

That is why I wrote on the American bikini. Out here shorts is scandalous enough

A delicate balance between what to hide and what not, with elegance and poise! Lovely weave!

One important point though, how safe are swim-suits in India for women on the beach? I remember Chennai and Pondicherry beaches, never seen any Indian women there in even one piece. Bikni must be a distant dream…what’s your take?

BRA-vo ;-). I love my one-piece too, like Purba says, shows what I want to show and hides the cellulite and stretch marks :).

Haha, nice take on the bikini. Though I feel nothing can set the sparks off more than the quintessential wet, white Indian sari.
