This pic was taken in the wee hours of this morning while the world was still half asleep. That is my solar lantern that I picked up on my last trip. And I totally love it! I own two of them. They adorn my balcony garden and glow in a soft light as the night grows darker. Just looking at it brings serenity, peace and joy. Somethings are enjoyed subtly.
And as my thoughts come tumbling down, I realize to make yourself heard, you don’t need to shout. And just coz you do scream from the rooftops, it does not make you right. This little lamp had none of that ostentatiousness. It simply hung in its own place doing the job it was defined to do. So are all of us. No one appointed us as the Messiah. Nobody takes us that seriously, so why the charade of upliftment of the downtrodden behind closed doors? The last I heard, bras were doing fabulously well in that area. 😉 So, let’s just shine bright with all our might, shall we? For I clearly recall God saying, ‘Let there be light.’
