Ah, I come to the end of my journey with Black Dog Whisky. I have learned a lot more than when I started out. It’s been fun to know the tiny details that go into the making of my Dad’s favourite drink. Over this one month, I have exchanged so many notes with him. I have also travelled down memory lane. It has been a wonderful journey to yesterday, once more, indeed. And so for the finale, I couldn’t think of anything better than this.
Over my findings with regards to whisky, I came across many quotes. I used quite a few of them in my posts. There were some that got left behind. So, as a befitting farewell, I bring to you some more whisky quotes. Enjoy them just as your would this ‘liquid sunshine’ as George Bernard Shaw put it. I leave you with a saying from Dad. How could I not?
Drinks are made for pleasure. Share it with someone, and you’ll never be alone. But be responsible, all the same.
