MyΒ Wandering WednesdayΒ Series are dedicated to the flight of my imagination now and then, captured by my camera lens. And then, songs and movies simply fill in the gaps for the right captions! I try to give you the back story of the picture too. Perhaps you may see a tale hidden there. Check the previous postsΒ here.
So, you been painting the town red, eh? Nice. But if you are going to be complaining about how tight your shoes are, chances are you will get fewer invites. Don’t get me wrong. Maybe, the shoes are a tad bit uncomfortable. So get a new pair or wear an old one. Just stop whining for Pete’s sake! Nobody wants to know where all your boots have travelled. Nor do they want to know if you are going dancing tonight. Trust me, they have their own closet full of shoes they don’t use. So, take a cue honey. Wear the pair if it fits, but remember to not step on toes. Shoes are known to bite!
Shot last week, a girlfriend was wearing this colourful number and I couldn’t help but go clickety click! I would not have the flamboyance to carry this off, even though I am quite the peacock otherwise. Β This pair did true justice to her though. Just like the hues, she turns pink at the mention of yellow. Sometimes her bouts of blues make her green. On good days she reigns purple, on bad days, she sees red. All in all, she lives in those shoes, I’d say!

Love the blue nail paint and the way you connect footwear to whiners.
Ah Alka, I am glad you read in between the lines. That tribe gets to me really. Nothing is ever good for them, sigh!
Like Hrish, I also noticed and liked the blue nails! They look hot π
Et tu? I’m not saying anything more about her π
That’s a colourful pair. Loved the way she carried it off. The blue nail polish goes well too.

Ah, Jas, she is going to be mighty pleased that everyone is loving her eclectic style. Will surely pass on your wishes.
you certainly need to have a lot of poise and confidence to carry off a pair like that! Awesome!
Oh yes you do Rosh. And if she goes and buys some more of those pairs, I know I am responsible….and all of you π

Great looking shoes..
I am sure my friend would be happy to know that.
I recognise those shoes, they originate in Vietnam if I’m not mistaken. I drooled over these styles when I lived there but I could never find them in a size to fit by oversized western feet.
Oh, the lady in question picked it up from Phuket, she says. π
First, My, my! What colorful footwear! Awesome really.
Second, yeah, one has to wear shoes that fit π
Thanks for pointing me to this post π
