If there would be a single word to describe the UAE, it would be opulence. Everything is larger than life, and yet tastefully done. They take pride in their culture just as they embrace the contemporary, and that translates unto their architecture the most.
We were lucky enough to get a chance to visit the Emirates Palace, one of the most luxurious and expensive hotels in the world. Yes, the same hotel where Sex and the City-2 was ‘technically’ shot. (However, the movie merely makes a mention of the hotel. In reality it was shot in Morocco.)
Truth be told, I was blown. And as much as I could write about it, I think for once I’ll let the pictures do the talking. And yes, it has the ATM that spits GOLD! Check it out.
